I bought a Sonia Kashuk Flat top brush. I haven't had it long (a year max) and it's dying on me. I've had the bristles detach from the metal about four times and I'm sick & tired of fixing it with super glue. I'm not rough when I wash my brushes so maybe it was a defect in workmanship. I tried Prestige's #104 eyeshadow sweep brush (TWICE!) and got bad results both times. I'm not entirely pleased with it at all. It's coarse on the eye, the bristles come out after the first wash, and upon closer inspection the bristles are actually crooked. Does anyone know what brand this makeup brush is from? I picked it up from Nordstroms Rack and haven't really been able to find it since I moved (no Nordstroms Rack here). :( Its a really great brush though. Great size for travel and regular use. Its soft and it picks up the color VERY well. :) Soooo satisfied with it!

I'll go shopping tomorrow and i'll step by sephora store so i need suggestions on what to buy there and best beauty products i can find there .. basically anything from perfumes to makeup and hair products... etc
 

what is the main difference between high end foundation brushes like mac and just regular brushes? Ive bought the mac 190, and im thinking of returning it when I think of all the things i can buy for the $35! ive tried essential brush beauty today, and it sort of had the same feel...any help would be great! thanks!

What do you guys do to clean your make-up brushes? Soap and water, or did you buy a brush cleanser?

Which do you think works better?

Could makeup sponges cause acne? I don't mean dirty ones I mean clean ones fresh from the bag. They contain silicone right? Because I know silicone in foundations break me out. I'm breaking out along the bottom half of my face right now and the only makeup change I've made in the past month is using a sponge to apply my powder.
